Very soon, Iowa beer fans can buy Juicy Bits hazy IPA and Weld Pilsner from WeldWerks Brewing Co., a darling of the craft brewery industry. The company out of Greeley, Colorado, plans to start distribution in Iowa, along with 11 other states, beginning next week.

The company specializes in developing inventive IPAs, such as Juicy Bits, a hazy IPA, and Extra Extra Juicy Bits, a hazy double IPA, as well as Weld Pilsner, a Czech-style pilsner. All three are available year round.

The brewery also has Bamm Bamm Rubble Rubble sour ale and Evil Haze Factory hazy double IPA that come out in the first quarter, and limited releases of a milk stout and sour ale, among others. Alex Paine, director of sales for WeldWerks Brewing Co., says the Iowans will have access to many of these releases once beers start showing up on shelves.

Fans can start purchasing WeldWerks beers at Hy-Vee stores as well as Des Moines area bars such as downtown's El Bait Shop (200 SW Second St., Des Moines), Global Brew Tap House (9500 University Ave. #1118, West Des Moines), The Keg Stand (530 Westown Pkwy., West Des Moines), Up-Down Bar Arcade (500 E. Locust St., Des Moines), Quinton's Bar & Deli (506 E. Grand Ave., Des Moines) and The Other Place (12401 University Ave., Clive, and 2010 SE Delaware Ave., Suite 260, Ankeny), according to Axios Des Moines. Pequod handles the distribution, according to Paine.
