This Colorado water park is one of the best in the US
DENVER (KDVR) — Summer is right around the corner, and Colorado’s largest waterpark is being recognized nationally.
Water World is considered one of the best outdoor water parks in the U.S., according to USA Today and its readers.
Water World hiring hundreds for summer jobs
With 70 acres of wave pools, slides and rides, Water World is considered the seventh-best park in the nation.
“While rides like the Alpine Springs Express Gondola take guests high above the winding slides for a bird’s-eye view reminiscent of winter’s ski lifts, Warp Speed allows riders to cool down with a journey through an interstellar wormhole that’s both a game and ride in one,” said USA Today.
The park has welcomed more than 15 million guests since its opening in 1979. It will officially open on May 25 for the 2024 season.
You can purchase tickets to the award-winning park on its website. A general admission day pass for adults will cost $34.99 and children’s admission will cost $30.
Guests who want to spend all summer getting tan and braving the wave pool can do so with splash passes starting at $134.99.
