Colorado Ski Resorts Reporting New Snowfall Overnight, More On The Way
The Winter '23/'24 season has concluded for many resorts across the country, but the high-altitude peaks of Summit County, Colorado's ski areas are still going strong.
The following ski areas are open and reporting fresh snowfall as of Friday, April 26, 2024: Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Loveland, and Winter Park. Check out the snow cam from Winter Park below:
The overnight storm isn't boasting deep snow totals per se, but a few inches of refresher snow could do wonders for Colorado skiers and snowboarders, especially this late in the season.
Here are the overnight storm totals from the ski resorts still open in Colorado:
Arapahoe Basin: 4 inches
Breckenridge: 6 inches
Copper Mountain: 5 inches
Loveland Ski Area: 8 inches
Winter Park Resort: 6 inches

We're entering the last weekend of April, but conditions will certainly feel more like mid-Winter at Colorado's ski resorts this weekend.
Forecasts are calling for cold temps and the potential for an additional 17+ inches of snowfall before the weekend is over, according to OpenSnow.
Folks looking for Spring skiing conditions will be forced to wait until next week, after this burst of winter has passed.
Break out those semi-wide, all-mountain powder skis (whatever that means), bundle up, and enjoy that Colorado powder while you still can. The Centennial State is no stranger to May snow storms, but you can never be certain when the last real powder day of the season will be.
