Colorado Ski Resorts Announce Closing Days For Winter '23/'24
Winter is over, and Spring is in full swing. But even with the amount of snow we've seen this season, ski season has to end sometime.
That exact time is now known at ski resorts across Colorado.
Granby Ranch has already closed as of March 31st, and Howelsen Hill also stopped its lifts on March 23rd.
Next up to close in Colorado is Sunlight Mountain Ski Resort, closing on April 4th. Sunlight currently has a base depth of 48 inches.
Cooper closes on April 7th, as does Powderhorn and Telluride.
Powderhorn has a base depth of 66 inches, and Telluride has a base depth of 64 inches.
Echo Mountain closes on April 14th.
Eldora, Aspen Snowmass, Monarch Mountain, Purgatory, and Steamboat all close on April 21st.
Copper Mountain closes on April 28th. Copper Mountain received 6 inches in the last 72 hours and is running 21 out of 23 lifts.
Loveland closes in early May. Loveland is actually known for their early season conditions due to their snowmaking. The resort stopped making snow on December 30th this season.
Winter Park closes in mid to late May.
Arapahoe Basin will close in early June, and Silverton has not yet announced its closing date.
Needless to say, there are still plenty of options for those hoping to get some spring skiing in Colorado.
