Colorado Resort Eclipses 300 Inches Of Snow On The Season

Winter Park Resort, CO, just announced that with 15” of snow in the last 24 hours, the resort now has a 307” season-to-date snowfall. (That number has since increased.)

A video posted to Facebook shows a timelapse of the snowstake getting covered. Watch below.

Colorado's longest continually operated ski resort has a 90 inch base, with the conditions being reported as packed powder, and today there is 4 new inches in the last 24 hours.

That brings the total snowfall this season to 311 inches.

With 19 inches of fresh powder in the last 48 hours, and 22 inches over the last 3 days, there is no new snow in the forecast from now until Monday, but that's probably okay.

While things will be partly cloudy over the weekend, Monday should be sunny and bluebird.

The Snoasis Cam, recording from the roof of Snoasis, shows fully-covered trails and snow-dusted trees. See below.
