Colorado has one of the best farmers markets in the country
DENVER (KDVR) — There are dozens of farmers markets in Colorado, but only one has been honored as one of the 10 best markets nationwide, according to USA Today experts and readers.
Palisade Sunday Farmers Market is located in downtown Palisade, which is a small Western Slope town known for peach orchards and vineyards.

It was named the seventh-best farmers market in the U.S. in a poll conducted by USA Today. Experts with the publication first nominated several markets, after which readers were able to vote on their favorites.

The farmers market in Palisade features live music and other local vendors, in addition to fresh produce.
Even though the weather is getting warmer, you’ll have to wait a bit to pick up some fresh fruits in Palisade, as the market doesn’t open until June 2. After that, it will open every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. until Oct. 6.
