Isn't it romantic?

It’s almost mid-February, which means it’s almost the most romantic time of the year. Yes, my loved-up friends, it’s nearly Valentine’s Day, which means hearts are aflutter. And if you’re thinking of popping the question to the person you love most, then we’ve got an Airbnb you’ve gotta book.

In a statement shared with Travel + Leisure, Airbnb revealed that references to proposals in guest reviews of homes on the platform have more than tripled since 2018. And while every vacation spot can be romantic, the Red Rock Oasis home in Idledale, Colorado, has something special that people are apparently looking for when asking for a hand in marriage.

“We’ve had well over 100 proposals on the property (that I know of), and I often get to be involved in some capacity,” the home’s host shared in a statement. “It’s so heart-warming to watch all the well-thought-out plans anxiously put in place. It’s really beautiful.”

As to what people find to be so romantic about the home, it all comes down to its sublime location overlooking Bear Creek and the vast Colorado wilderness, its fantastic amenities like a hot tub and fire pit, and a mountain-chic interior that just begs for cuddling on the deep leather sofa in front of the indoor fireplace.

“Unmatched Airbnb. Absolutely gorgeous location, lovely space, and impressive amenities,” one guest wrote in their review. “Tassi and Larry were incredibly thoughtful and accommodating hosts as well. I opted to propose to my now fiancé at their home, and they went out of their way to ensure I had the private and romantic getaway that would make it unforgettable. Whether it be for a relaxing retreat or a memorable moment with your significant other, I can’t recommend their Airbnb enough.”

The Red Rock Oasis isn’t the only house in Colorado to receive a lot of, well, love. According to Airbnb, this adorable guest suite near Estes Park, Colorado, also receives more than its fair share of proposals.

“For some reason — the simplicity of the space, the privacy, the sunrise view from bed — people keep getting engaged at my house,” the home’s host shared. “I think being in the mountains is the perfect start for a relationship, and I’ve tried as a Host to create spaces that encourage people to slow down and reconnect. And after they see that I’m a professional photographer, some have even hired me for their wedding.”

Best of all? The Estes Park guest suite is only $73 a night. Not that you need a great deal to celebrate your love, but it doesn’t hurt either.
