This A+ Color Combination Will Make You Very Excited for Fall

The weather remains weird, but the stylish men out promoting movies and sitting at fashion shows, would have you believe that fall has arrived in the most chill and steady of ways. This week, while many of us were drenched in sweat and rain, Bradley Cooper, Ryan Gosling, and model Luka Sabbat were flexing in their finest autumn tailoring. It was a tease, but we will allow it, because they’re serving up some very fresh moves.

Namely, all three guys ditched typical tailoring colors for suits in deep brown and shirts in mint green. Cooper threw in a navy tie, Gosling (whose suit was on the reddish side) wore a braided belt, and Sabbat donned various statement rings. The looks were distinct and personal, incredibly stylish, and a refreshing departure from classic gray/navy, blue/white tailoring kits that dominate most formal settings.

Even if you wouldn’t wear chocolate brown tailoring on the crispest and clearest of fall days, doesn’t mean you can’t sample from this idea. A pair of brown dress pants can sub in for a suit, and you can reach for a more casual shirt in linen or Oxford cloth too. Just maybe wait for a day that doesn’t demand cutoff shorts and waterproof outerwear. There is adapting a trend for real life, and then there is accepting the fact that it’s 88-degrees and pouring.
