Heading into Stage 21, there was no question of who the winners of each jersey classification would be at this year's Tour, so the only thing left to decide was who would win the final, glorious sprint on Champs-Élysées in Paris.

The Belgian champion Yves Lampaert made a daring move with 1km to go, but the sprinters caught him within the last 400m and the European road race champion, Alexander Kristoff, won final stage of this year's race. This was Kristoff's first stage victory at this year's Tour and his third overall.

Kristoff, who races for UAE Team Emirates, raced his custom-painted Colnago Concept at this year's Tour. The color scheme is based on the European flag, which is a tribute to Kristoff's European Championships road race victory in 2017. UAE is partnered with Campagnolo, so Kristoff's winning bike utilized a Super Record EPS groupset and a Campagnolo Bora Ultra wheelset. The Norwegian also utilized a Prologo saddle, a MET Manta aero helmet, and Vittoria tires during his victorious sprint.
