College Football Fan Kicked Out of Houston State Bearkats Game Over 'Ballsy' Costume

One college football fan evidently got a bit too much into the Halloween spirit at the Sam Houston State Bearkats game against the University of Texas at El Paso Miners game in Huntsville, Texas on Wednesday night by showing up in a giant inflatable penis costume. And let's just say the stunt didn't go over well with the university's powers that be.

The unidentified fan has since gone viral in photos and video that were taken by other spectators at the game, as the outfit temporarily seemed to get more attention than the action on the field.

"Wild night here in Huntsville," posted the College Football Campus Tour, along with a photo snapped by someone fortunate enough to have been seated directly behind the penis-wearing fan.

However, it didn't long before the penis was ejected from the game, as one member of the security personnel could be seen gingerly leading away the fan up through the stands—albeit while seemingly barely able to contain his amusement.

A university spokesperson later told TMZ that the fan was given a choice to remove the costume and remain at the game or leave.

"It is our understanding that stadium staff worked with CSC, the contracted security service, to give the individual the option to take the costume off or leave the stadium," the spokesperson said. "University officers did not interact with this person. We have no further information to provide at this time."

Unfortunately for Sam Houston State, the Bearkats ultimately went on to lose the game 37–34, as the team has been on a losing streak since joining the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) level at the beginning of the 2023–24 season. In other words, it couldn't have hurt to let the penis stay; maybe it would have brought the team a few inches of good luck.
