MÓNICA RAMÍREZ: The power of what we've seen because of the MeToo movement is the fact that people have continued the conversations and have been looking towards solutions and have been thinking about what the possibilities are for us to work together to make change.

We've tried to use our collective power to force political leaders to change the laws so that people actually get protection. Most recently, together with Tarana Burke, Ai-Jen Poo, and Fatima Goss Graves, we launched MeToo voter to really show the power of survivors as a constituency. And we don't want political leaders to just say that they feel bad, and they're so sorry that this problem exists.

We want political leaders to actually take action to make change so that no one has to experience this problem anymore. And if they do, that there's an avenue for people to actually be able to get justice.
