Collaboration of the Week: Louis Vuitton for Unicef

Louis Vuitton has teamed up with Unicef again for the second year to raise funds for the children who have been affected by the horrors of war and deprivation. Since January 2016, Louis Vuitton has helped raised $2.5m for Unicef and we can’t think of a better cause to get behind than to help spread the word of this partnership!

The #makeapromise campaign is based on children’s pinky promise gesture. So this year to keep their promise, 460 Louis Vuitton stores worldwide in over 60 countries will be raising awareness with the LV Silver Lockit pendant. Two hundred dollars from each sale of the pendant or locket will be donated to Unicef. Two hundred dollars can help provide six First Aid kits or 25 fleece blankets or 45 life-saving mosquito nets to protect children and their families from malaria.

So if you were lucky enough to receive cash over the holidays, or you didn’t get around to spending all your holiday money, this is your chance to own a cute bracelet or pendant and help keep this promise by either donating direct to Unicef, or go into a Louis Vuitton store and treat yourself or a love one to a Silver Lockit.
