Colin Farrell Makes Rare Red Carpet Appearance with Son at Oscars

The father-son duo dressed to the nines for Hollywood's biggest night.

It was bring your son to work day for Colin Farrell at the 2023 Oscars.

The actor, 46, attended the award show at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, Calif. last night, March 12, with his 13-year-old son, Henry, and the two appeared as dapper as ever. 

Ahead of the Academy Awards, Colin spoke with Vanity Fair where he revealed that he would be bringing Henry as his date to the special event and noted that they would be matching—and they did just that!

Matching from head to toe, Colin and Henry donned all-black velour tuxedos for Hollywood's biggest night. They completed their red carpet look with black bowties and black dress shoes.

Colin's hair was slightly quaffed back while Henry opted for a messier, gelled look for the big event.

Colin was nominated for Best Actor for his performance in The Banshees of Inisherin. The award ultimately went to Brendan Fraser for his role in The Whale, marking his first-ever Oscar win amid his heavily anticipated return to Hollywood. 

Earlier this month, Colin revealed that Henry was with him when he found out he was nominated for an Oscar. 

“I knew that Henry, my youngest, was going to be with me. I said to Henry, ‘Do you want me to wake you up?’ And he was like, ‘Duh — what do you think, Dad? Of course I want you to wake me up!’”

Colin shares Henry with Ondine costar, Alicja Bachleda-Curuś. He also is the father of 19-year-old James Farrell whom he shares with model, Kim Bordenave.

Although Colin didn't take home the award for Best Actor, he did win a Golden Globe back in January for his performance in The Banshees of Inisherin, where he shouted out his two sons while accepting the award.

"My kids are at home watching this. James and Henry, the loves of my life, I love you so much," he said in his acceptance speech.
