Cole Swindell Shares Engagement News in Celebratory Post

Cole Swindell is officially an engaged man.

The country crooner shared the exciting news on Instagram in a post that revealed he got down on one knee and proposed to girlfriend Courtney Little on Sunday, May 7.

The proposal on a farm near Nashville, Tennessee was particularly special as it was the location of the couple’s first date, per People.

“Still couldn’t tell ya everything I said down on one knee.. All I know is she said 'YES!' 💍 We’re so excited!” the “She Had Me At Heads Carolina” singer wrote in the caption under a series of photos.

One snapshot captured the moment Swindell proposed, a second included a kiss between the newly engaged couple, and the third showed the duo celebrating with a bottle of bubbly.

A photo in the slideshow also gave fans a glimpse of the stunning solitaire diamond ring, as Little flashed it toward the camera and Swindell kissed her on the cheek.

Little—who previously appeared in Swindell's music video for "Some Habits”— also shared her bliss on social media, captioning the photos, "Woke up as future Mrs. Swindell. I've never been so happy! I can't believe we are ENGAGED!!!!!"

“Congrats you two!!!” fellow country artist Thomas Rhett commented on Swindell’s post, while Carly Pearce added, “AWWWW!!!!!”

Other country stars chimed in as Michael Ray and Chris Lane wrote “Congrats buddy!!”

Lauren Alaina added “Congrats!!!!!!” as Hardy noted “Dude!!!! Congrats!!!!!”

The official account for the ACM Awards also sent well wishes, writing, “And the ACM award for the cutest couple goes to… 😍 congrats!”

Swindell is nominated for five awards at the upcoming show on Thursday, May 11 on Amazon Prime Video.

The couple previously hit the red carpet last month for the CMT Music Awards where Swindell told ET that marriage was in their “future plans,” adding that his now-fiancée makes him “happy.”
