Cole Sprouse Thanks Lili Reinhart for His Sanity This Valentine’s Day

Riverdale on- and off-screen sweethearts Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse are celebrating their first Valentine's Day as an Instagram official couple this year. Sprouse was the first to post a tribute, and the caption is...concise...but surprisingly intimate. "Quite actually the only thing keeping me sane is @lilireinhart," he wrote, sharing a shot he took of her. So, please thank Reinhart for Sprouse's preserved sanity; her Insta is tagged after all:

Reinhart just responded to Sprouse's tribute by liking his post:

Commenting on a second set of images he shared of himself from a photo shoot: "Happy V day to me!" she wrote.

And posting her own tribute to him. This one features them both smiling amidst a sunset. "You make me very happy. Happy Valentine’s Day, my love," she wrote.

It's not clear whether Reinhart and Sprouse will spend the day together because of work commitments. Sprouse was doing press for his upcoming film 5 Feet Apart in Texas yesterday, while Reinhart may be in Vancouver, as Riverdale is still shooting there. (Their co-stars Cami Mendes and KJ Apa shared Instagram stories from set yesterday, although Reinhart did not appear to be in them.) Sprouse's last Instagram Story was of himself and his costar Haley Lu Richardson traveling.

Sprouse has been sparing in how much he posts about his and Reinhart's relationship. The two were first reported to be dating in July 2017 (and rumors they were dated started months before in the spring), but they did not confirm their relationship until almost a year later in April 2018. Sprouse wouldn't make their romance Instagram official until September 2018.

While Sprouse regularly shares photos he takes of Reinhart on his or her Instagram feed, his captions usually aren't personal. In the last photo he shared of her, he opened up a little about how he basically tortured her on the snow shoot: "'How do the people you shoot even tolerate you?' @lilireinhart on ‘making her suffer for my art,’" he captioned the shot.

His birthday tribute to Reinhart also had a very personal but unconventional caption: "Both the birthday and the gift. My little muse, happy birthday my love," he wrote, posting a topless shot of her. His Riverdale costars KJ Apa and Casey Cott trolled him by having Apa recreate the shot:
