Cole Sprouse on His Most Romantic Date With Lili Reinhart
There are few things we love more than a super cute and romantic love story. Whether it’s on the big screen in a rom-com or happening IRL around us, these storylines never fail at making our hearts rejoice. And one pair that’s become the couple that just keeps on giving is none other than Riverdale’s Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart.
The two kept their romance on the DL for some time when it first started. But lately, the stars have been more open about their relationship, from Cole calling Lili his “muse” on social media to Lili dubbing Cole her “sexiest man alive.” And the latest romantic tidbit is just as swoon-worthy, I promise.
In a recent interview with Glamour, Cole opened up about his relationship with Lili. He told the publication about the time he surprised her with one of his grandest romantic gestures yet. “I really like the road-trip date,” Cole said. “I took [her] on a date where we drove to this location deep into Canada, and I surprised her with a big hot-air balloon adventure, which was quite a bit of fun. I like traveling quite a bit. I like road-tripping. Those grand experiences always end up yielding the greatest memories — and the greatest romances.”
OK, wow. Cole can surprise Lili with this super romantic date and yet I can’t even get a text back! But, I digress. According to Cole, the best type of dates include “quality time,” but he’s also not opposed to getting into ~trouble~ with a romantic partner. “Maybe a little breaking and entering! Some photography! Who knows?” Can he plan all of my future dates, too?
Of course, this isn’t the only time that Cole and Lili’s relationship has been swoon-worthy; who could forget when they made their red carpet debut at last year’s Met Gala looking flawless, or the times they went all-out on social media for one another’s birthdays? Clearly, their love is thriving, and we’re totally here for it.
