Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart Were Spotted Kissing in Paris

They were there for a French "Riverdale" convention.

Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart were recently in Paris for a French Riverdale convention, and while gallivanting around town, were photographed holding hands and kissing in a restaurant and on the street, Elle reports. As usual, neither Riverdale star shared pics of the other on social media that might hint at anything between the two (Lili instead has shared pics of the Eiffel Tower), but OK! Magazine reports that the French paparazzi caught them mid-smooch several times while taking a stroll and having dinner.

This display of reported PDA is far bolder than their beach stroll back in January, where they were spotted with their arms around one another while enjoying the shores of Hawaii. Still, pictures are just pictures, and until either Cole or Lili says something about the situation, whether or not they're in a relationship is really none of our business.

In fact, both actors have made it very clear before that they'd like to keep their private lives, well, private. Just last week at Paleyfest, Cole shut down a fan's question about their dating rumors with a short, "No comment." And before that, he'd told People that he wants to establish a firm boundary early on so people don't feel entitled to his information. "I just never talk about it because it's not anyone's right to know," he told the outlet in November. "People can speculate all they want, people speculate about me with every member of the cast practically, but it's really no one's right to know."

Lili shared similar sentiments in November as well, albeit much more candidly. After some fans took photos of her eating, she called out their invasive behavior in a since-deleted social media post. "To the two girls who are repeatedly photographing me as I'm eating my lunch... I see you," she wrote. Later on, she doubled down on her right to privacy. "No, no, no. This is what's wrong – you think you're entitled to take a photo of me while I'm alone and eating because I'm on a tv show," she said. "So I asked for it, right? Wrong. I am a human being. I am not Betty Cooper. You aren't entitled to me. At all."

Both Cole and Lili are exactly right. No one is entitled to any aspect of their personal lives, so until either of them decides to share more than they have, it's important to respect their privacy.
