So a couple weeks ago, all sh*t hit the fan when reports of Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse's breakup surfaced. According to sources like Us Weekly and E!, they broke up earlier this summer after two years of dating, but the Riverdale costars have since taken to social media to troll everyone who believes they actually split. And if you thought they were done, you have another thing coming because they just commented about the rumors, again.

First off, when Variety posted an Instagram about Cole—it had nothing to do with his breakup—Lili left a comment that's been deemed "snarky." She wrote, "Sources say he's single now- is he available?" Heh. Lili later deleted the post, but screenshots live forever, so there's solid proof she hasn't forgot about these reports.

Elsewhere, Cole talked to Entertainment Tonight about the rumors and how they've been trolling everyone. He joked and said that he's "incredibly" annoyed by the reports before adding, "No, I don't care. That's the nature of our industry." He then went on to say, "I think you have to poke fun of it a little bit. It's kind of something you sign up for, but as long as can keep it light and fun, it's all good."

Well, they're definitely doing a good job at poking fun at it, especially with his cheeky "UNPRECEDENTED: Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart consume the flesh of ‘reliable sources’ to fuel their bacchanalian sex cult" Instagram caption that he used to announce their first post-breakup (?) magazine cover.

But even after everything, Lili and Cole still haven't outright said whether or not the rumors are true—that birthday poem doesn't address it head-on—so we can just look forward to a future of decoding everything they do.
