Cole Sprouse Consoled Brad Pitt and Leo DiCaprio in PCAs Speech

"Don't let this dishearten you."

At this point, it's safe to say that Cole Sprouse is essentially a master comedian. The Riverdale star has frequently demonstrated he knows how to get a laugh, particularly when it comes to trolling his fellow costars and his brother Dylan Sprouse. Now, some of Hollywood's biggest names can count themselves among those that the former Disney Channel star has joked about.

During the Nov. 10 People's Choice Awards, Cole took home two awards, securing the honor of being the People's Choice for Best Male TV Star in Riverdale and Best Drama Movie Star for Five Feet Apart. Cole had faced some tough competition in the drama category, and he won out against stars like Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, a feat which he jokingly made reference to in his acceptance speech.

As E! News pointed out, Cole took to the stage and shared some encouraging words for his fellow nominees, saying, "To some of the other newcomers in this category, specifically DiCaprio and Pitt, just keep your heads up. Don't let this dishearten you. You guys are going to be here one day. The three of us, we've had this competition for a long time. But, apparently, this is my year." Obviously, Cole was joking, as Brad and Leo have this movie career thing kind of on lock.

Along with a joke, he later got serious, E! pointed out, and the actor expressed his appreciation for being able to work on a film that highlighted cystic fibrosis. "It's a really underrepresented disease and, thanks to all you guys who came out and watched it, I think it hit its mark and we really hit our goal," he said.

Apparently, Cole wasn't the only one celebrating his wins either. As Elite Daily reported, Lili Reinhart shared her excitement via Instagram Story. Posting a photo of the star accepting his award on stage, she wrote, "Congrats, to my people's choice best baby." Best baby and best actor in a drama? Cole was definitely the evening's top winner.
