Cody Kelley Rips Down Texas' Only Lift-Served Bike Park

January is not generally the time of year that we expect to see bike park clips coming out of North America. However, Spider Mountain - a newish bike park just outside of Austin, Texas - seeks to change that.

They're seeming to have no problem drawing North American pros down to shred in this particularly dry winter. Cody Kelley was just seen throwing down some moves in the high desert and you can see those below.

Spider Mountain is located just 60 miles north of Austin on the shore of Texas's Lake Buchanan. They have 350 vertical feet of terrain and 19 trails. For a bike park in Texas, a place not generally associated with mountain biking, that isn't too bad.

Spider opened in 2019 and since then they've boasted that they are the United States' only year round lift service bike park. So, if you're already sick of the snow (or, lack thereof this year - head on down to Austin to scratch that bike park itch.
