Cockatoo 'Inspects' Dad While He Sleeps in Downright Hilarious Video
These birds really are the best.
Does anyone remember being at a sleepover as a kid and you'd be the first one up? You'd carefully and quietly look around, checking to see if your friends were still sleeping. We've all done this at one point! And well, apparently animals do it too.
In this recent clip from TikTok user @zeustheumbrellacockatoo, a man was "napping" on the couch. But he must've been sleeping long enough because Zeus the Cockatoo came around and inspected. You have to watch this clip. It's downright hilarious!

O.M.G. Stop it! We can't stop laughing at this clip. For starters, the music selection is on point and Zeus knew exactly when to move, which was so in sync with the music. "You could not have choreographed that better!" said @jm_j. Right?! And to catch this exact moment on camera is so amazing! "That music is so perfect!" added @zulygonzalez192. That's what we're saying!
"OMG. This is so funny. The timely closing of eyes as the bird looks at them," said @mbowers12. Right?! It reminds us of when we were little and we'd pretend that we were still sleeping, but our parents kept looking because they knew we weren't. LOL!
Another TikTok user, @stanhenderson5, wrote, "The sleeper's protector. All is well." Aww! That's exactly what Zeus was doing. He was protecting his human during his sleep, standing by his side just in case he had a nightmare. SO cute!
