Coca-Cola Recalled Due to Incorrect Labeling

Coca-Cola issued a recall affecting select Coca-Cola Ultimate products after the company said the bottles were mistakenly labeled with the wrong packaging.

According to a new report, Coca-Cola Bottling Group United of College Park, Georgia, has recalled 177 cases, with 24 loose bottles per case, of Coca-Cola Ultimate after the bottles were improperly labeled as Coca-Cola Ultimate Zero Sugar.

The products that have been mislabeled were packaged in 20oz PET (plastic) bottles that were then organized into cases of 24 loose bottles and distributed within the state of Georgia.

This Coca-Cola mishap is the latest recall to affect some of the grocery products that Americans likely stocked up on ahead of the July 4th holiday weekend last week. Other everyday food items that have since been recalled–and we recommend you should check before consuming–include select hot dogs sold by Perdue and more than 11,000 pounds of romaine lettuce.
