Cobra Kai season 5 viewers say this is the best character

Cobra Kai season five dropped on Netflix on Friday [9th September], and fans have been taking to social media to share their love for one character in particular.

Cobra Kai season 5 revolves around the battle against Terry Silver, who, after the season 4 finale, has taken over the titular dojo and is expanding all across the valley.

Without giving away too many *spoilers*, many fans have decided Miguel Diaz (Xolo Maridueña) who starts the series by looking for his biological father in Mexico before later making up his friendship with Robby (Tanner Buchanan), is the best part of the whole show.

As one put it, "Miguel is by far the best teen character in Cobra Kai… it’s about time the focus is back on him." Someone else said, "Do you spell it Miguel Diaz or best Cobra Kai character?" and "Let's make one thing clear Miguel Diaz is the best teen in karate on Cobra Kai!"

Other comments included, "Miguel Diaz is the best Cobra Kai character and it’s not even CLOSE."

Others are more divided over who their favourite character is, though. "We can all agree that Chozen is the best character in this season. #CobraKai" one person wrote, while another put, "Ok, out of the kids in the show, Dimitri is one of the best characters in Cobra Kai. Freaking hilarious. Lol"

More tweets read, "Cobra Kai is the best family show ever. We’re all hooked. Also, Johnny is my favorite character." and "Amanda is the best character in Cobra Kai, you can't change my mind.
