Coastal-Inspired Home with Crazy Good Exposed Beams + Beaded Chandys

Three cheers for beaded chandeliers. This home is practically dripping in them which is clearly fine by us since, as we previously mentioned, we're die hard fans of major lighting moments. And between the beads, the entry star, and gorgeous exposed beams, this home is speaking our love language. With the help of Blackband Design and Tessa Neustadt, there's a whole vault full of pretty for you to get lost in.

This home had a lot of its original Spanish style architecture which we loved, but we wanted to modernize it and bring a coastal vibe to the design. One of the biggest goals for our clients was to keep things family friendly and comfortable, while still looking sophisticated for entertaining.

We started by refreshing the paint color in a lighter, crisp tone to help open up the space. We kept the color scheme very monochromatic, a mix of naturals with fresh accents by pulling in grays, creams and taupes.

Most of the furnishings in this home were custom made including the entry consoles, dining table, dining buffet, sofas, coffee table, desk, the built-ins in the kids playroom, and all of the rugs. By designing custom furnishings it allows us to offer our clients one of a kind pieces that we can alter in size, materials, finish, etc.
