Coachella Has Reportedly Been Canceled Due to Coronavirus Concerns
Bad news for music festival-goers: Coachella and Stagecoach are reportedly being postponed due to concerns over the coronavirus outbreak.
Sources told Variety that both weekends of the Coachella Festival as well as the Stagecoach Music Festival that follows have been moved to October. They were originally scheduled for April.
Concerns around the virus have been affecting events all around the world. Earlier this week, Miley Cyrus announced she would be canceling her benefit concert for the Australian bushfires.
Australia: Due to the recommendations of local, state, federal and international government authorities, including the Center for Disease Control, to reduce potential health risks in response to the current global health crisis, we are no longer traveling to Aus for the show.

Last week, the South By Southwest Festival in Austin was also canceled over concerns about the virus, leading the festival to lay off 50 employees to "stop the bleeding" after the cancellation. In addition, universities including New York University, Columbia University, and Princeton have moved to online instruction, a majority of movie theaters in China have closed, and public gatherings have been banned in Italy.

Also due to concerns about coronavirus, the latest James Bond installment, No Time to Die, has been postponed from an April release date to November. Peter Rabbit 2 also postponed its release date from the end of March until August.
The coronavirus has continued to spread around the world, as Italy undergoes an unprecedented lockdown and the U.S. confirms more than 700 cases.
