‘Coach’ Sam Heughan Gives Monday Motivation In Weight Room Selfie

The actor is counting down to the start of his 2023 health challenge for charity.

When he isn't acting in TV shows and movies like Outlander and SAS: Red Notice, Sam Heughan is motivating people everywhere to challenge themselves as they raise millions of dollars for charity with My Peak Challenge.

He's currently counting down the days to the start of 2023's My Peak Challenge with some great motivation and selfies from the weight room.

Heughan posted the pictures on Instagram with the caption, "2 DAYS!!!!!! ✌️ Until we reach our Peak in 2023! @mypeakchallenge Make sure you preregister and join us for day 1 on 1st Feb. 😘."

He also joked about how dirty his hands look in the photos, writing, "(I may even wash my hands by then!?)."

It seems like the Peakers, as members of My Peak Challenge call themselves, are ready for this year's big event, responding to the encouragement from their "Coach."

One new member wrote, "Excited Coach! My first year as a Peaker. Discovered that at 73 there is a program for me - and I’m proud to be apart of a Charity to help save the oceans. ❤️."

Longtime Peakers are also excited to start, as someone commented, "Yasssss✌️✌️can't wait to dive into my 7th year as a proud Peaker 🙌😍."

The organization's official website states, "My Peak Challenge began with a call to action. In 2015, Sam Heughan challenged his fans to challenge themselves while raising funds for charity. The message resonated, and the My Peak Challenge T-shirt became synonymous with unity and camaraderie."

Over the years, My Peak Challenge, or MPC, added more and more offerings for its members with workout, yoga, and mindfulness programs, education on nutrition, and a welcoming community, all while raising almost $7 million for various charity nonprofits.

The charities partnering with My Peak Challenge include Ocean Conservancy, Blood Cancer UK, the Global FoodBanking Network, and more.
