This just in… Pamela Brown is married! CNN’s justice correspondent exchanged vows with longtime love Adam Wright this weekend on the property of her childhood home in Cave Hill, Kentucky.

Brown, 33, and Wright, 37, welcomed close to 250 guests on the beautiful grounds of the Lexington-area home, where both the bride and her brother were raised. The on-air personality is the daughter of former Kentucky Governor John Y. Brown Jr., and former Miss America Phyllis George.

For the occasion, Brown was resplendent in a gown by Romona Keveza, while the groom perfectly complemented her in a sleek black tux. The couple paid homage to Brown’s storied Kentucky roots as part of the traditional ceremony by offering a Woodford Reserve bourbon-tasting to guests. Other local touches included ice cream crafted by Lexington-beloved ice cream parlor Crank & Boom, and a “Call to Post” delivered by Kentucky Derby bugler Steve Buttleman.

Brown enlisted a local dream team to help plan the nuptials, which included planner Sarah Leer, caterer Cooper Vaughan of The Apiary, and florist Elizabeth Hemphill of Rose & Thistle. The pair had a charity component to their wedding registry, asking guests to donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital via The Knot Gifts Back.

Numerous CNN personalities were present for the affair, including executives Jeff Zucker, Amy Entelis and Virginia Moseley. CNN chief political correspondent Dana Bash brought boyfriend Spencer Garrett as her plus-one. Pirates of the Caribbean producer Jerry Bruckheimer and his wife, Linda Bruckheimer, were also there to witness the nuptials.

Brown and Wright, a Kansas native who previously lived in Los Angeles, first met through a mutual friend who thought they would be a great fit. The pair hit it off and dated long-distance until he eventually joined her in Washington, D.C., before proposing last September.

“When I walked in, there was a dress hanging and a card with instructions to put it on. My dog, Bubs, came around the corner wearing a bow tie and Adam came down the steps wearing a tux. I really knew something was up when I realized he had cooked me dinner,” Brown later told The Knot of the proposal. “After we ate, he left the room and came back with Bubs wearing the ring box on his doggie bow tie. He reached down to get the ring box and proposed.”

At the time, the television personality shared what she loved most about Wright. “We have the best time together no matter where we are,” she said. “He has a great sense of humor and makes me laugh often. I can talk to him about anything and I always say he knows everything about everything. Most importantly, I admire his strong values and character. He is one of the most upstanding people I have ever met. Plus, he puts up with all my quirks and my unpredictable work schedule–added bonus.”
