Dolly Parton opened up about her rack...of clothes at the 2019 CMA Awards.

The show kicked off with a powerful medley of prominent female country stars and launched into the opening monologue where hosts Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire, and Dolly Parton riffed off each other.

On a night celebrating the women in country, Carrie said that it meant the world to her getting to work with Dolly and Reba, her two “she-ros.” Even if that meant sharing a dressing room.

“There are racks of clothes and dresses everywhere,” Carrie said. “And for some reason Dolly’s rack is so much bigger.”

“Well Dolly’s rack is so much bigger!” Dolly said, not missing a beat. “I’m just addressing the elephants in the room.”

The jokes didn’t end there, as Carrie went on to say that everyone was welcomed at the awards, even their “fantastic men.” When Dolly told Carrie to speak for herself, Carrie asked what Dolly had against men.

“Well me if I get lucky!” said Dolly, laughing.

Some people on Twitter found the jokes about the country legend funny:

While others thought the jokes were a bit tone deaf on a night for women:

Still, Reba said the night was for all the little girls watching who dreamed of ruling the country music world, or "maybe just ruling the world" and that definitely came through.
