The 2023 Country Music Association Awards are just around the corner, honoring the past year’s top talents in country music. The annual awards ceremony began in 1967 was televised for the first time in 1968.
Since 2017, the event has been held on the second Wednesday of November, often following election day. Ahead of the 2023 CMA Awards, here’s what to know about this year’s event.

What’s the exact date of the 2023 CMA Awards?
The 2023 CMA Awards will take place on Nov. 8 from 7 to 10 p.m. EST. The annual event will take place at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
Who is hosting this year’s ceremony?
Country music singer and songwriter Luke Bryan and former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning are returning to host the event for a second year in a row. The two hosted the 2022 ceremony, proving quite the dynamic duo.

CMA Awards 2023 Nonimees
Country music duo Brooks & Dunn have extended their lead for the most nominations in the Duo of the Year category with a 24th nomination. The War and Treaty have become the first Black duo to receive a Duo of the Year nomination, and the first married couple to do so since Thompson Square in 2016. Miranda Lambert now ties with Martina McBride for the second most nominations in the female vocalist of the year category with 17 nominations. Reba McEntire is still number one with 18 nominations.
