Watching a lion in a zoo or sanctuary can be a fascinating experience, but nothing can match getting up close and personal with the king of the jungle. Just ask the lion caretakers at @ggconservation who get to spend every day around the majestic creatures!
In their latest popular TikTok video, the conservation gives viewers a close-up view of one of their lion's sneezes. The lion's name is Smokey, though he looks as golden as the sun. Viewers are positively riveted, and it's easy to see why!

BRB while we watch this video on repeat! Smokey's sneezes (and the sounds that come with them) are fascinating AF, and we can't get enough. Luckily, other viewers are just as obsessed!
"You can just feel the power listening to their vocals. Magnificent creatures," wrote @pull_npray. We couldn't have said it better ourselves! Even something as insignificant as a sneeze sounds so huge when it comes from a lion's throat, and that's how they got to the top of the food chain.
@Pclark1 agrees, writing, "even his sneezing sounds awesome." It's simply breathtaking! If 'lion ASMR' hasn't been invented yet, consider this the start. As much as we love the way the sneezes sound, we agree wholeheartedly with @annie-ennui who said, "I'd love to know the mechanics of the purring/growling sound." Wouldn't it be interesting to learn? Almost as interesting as watching Smokey do his thing!
