Clip: This Wave Sent Ian Crane to the Hospital in Morocco

Last week O'Neill released their latest "Strike Sessions" edit from Morocco's reeling right points, featuring A+ surfing from Robbie McCormick, Eli Beukes, Torrey Meister, and Gui Ribeiro.

Ian Crane had a quick cameo, and then curiously went missing.

This wave (1:40) is why.

Pulling into a friendly looking backside drainer, Crane gets flipped over the falls in the tube, and then compressed into his surfboard, breaking his foot and ending his trip. In the edit above, we see what happens next.

"Some of a surf trip's most memorable moments happen during the in-between," says O'Neill in the description of this recent clip from their Morocco trip. "In between surfing and reviewing clips, in between getting breakfast and waxing boards, and oftentimes in between one surf check to the next. These are the moments when personalities shine, and characters emerge."
