Clinique Announced the August Launch of New Beauty Products
Prepare for big changes to the traditional Clinique classics. The brand, noted for its Happy perfume and colorful makeup staples has announced a number of new additions to its cosmetics lineup.
Beginning this August, Clinique will begin offering brand new products. The first offering for its new line is the Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly. The product, which retails for $28, is the first time Clinique has offered a clear moisturizer. Made of oil-free water jelly, the moisturizer was created with products to keep your skin looking hydrated and fresh throughout the day. It also reportedly leaves no residue, making it a perfect makeup routine staple that you can quickly slip on before you begin your day.
Along with a new moisturizer, Clinique announced serious changes to a longtime fragrance favorite. The brand's Happy perfume will now come in six scent varieties as part of a line called My Happy. Scents include a perfume made for ocean daydreams called Lily of the Beach, a floral and citrus spray titled Happy Splash, and a scent made to evoke calm named Peace & Jasmine. Each perfume will retail for $22.
Changes are also planned for its line of Dramatically Different lipsticks. Tubes of the cream and shimmer finished colors underwent their own makeover, with a new shape that will reportedly help lips appear fuller and deliver on an easier lipstick application process. The complete collection of all 50 long-lasting shades will be available online and each tube retails for $19.50. You can also stock up on the product in stores, but only 30 of the shades will be available in physical locations.
Plus, fans of Sephora have the opportunity to shop three products exclusive to the makeup store. Along with a Blackhead Solutions Day Deep Pore Cleanse and Scrub ($24) and a Blackhead Solutions Self-Heating Blackhead Extractor ($29), a best of Black Honey eyeshadow palette with eight neutral shades will be available for $37.
The new Clinique cosmetics are expected to arrive just in time for your back to school beauty planning and come attached to the brand's new motto. Clinique has previously touted that its line was free of fragrance and potential allergy causing materials, and it's now announced that its entire line is going paraben- and phthalates-free with the motto: "No parabens. No phthalates. No fragrance. Just happy skin."
