This Clever McDonald's Hack Gets You Cotton Candy-Flavored Soda
There's certainly no shortage of McDonald's hacks these days. Their dessert hacks alone have taken TikTok by storm. And now there's a new soda trick that turns Sprite into a nostalgic summer treat.
TikToker @mcdonalds_hacks101 recently shared a video that shows you how to make a customized soda at McDonald's that tastes just like cotton candy. Surprisingly, the hack involves only two ingredients: Sprite and McDonald's French vanilla syrup.
While the combination might seem a little odd, @mcdonalds_hacks101's reaction upon trying the cotton candy soda has us pretty convinced.
"Alright, we got Sprite and French vanilla. Apparently, it tastes like cotton candy so we're gonna give it a whirl...It actually tastes like cotton candy. How? At this point, I don't even know. You're just gonna have to try it for yourself," the TikToker explained.
And the cotton candy frenzy doesn't stop there. Lovers of the carnival favorite will be pleased to hear that he has another TikTok video that demonstrates how you can make a cotton candy shake.
Another two-ingredient hack, the cotton candy shake combines vanilla ice cream and blue raspberry slush.
"You must try. All you have to do is ask for a vanilla shake and blue raspberry slush as the topping," said @mcdonalds_hacks101 in the video.
One TikToker did offer this warning if you do plan on trying the cotton candy shake for yourself: "Some McDonald's will make you buy them separately, they won't add one to the other."
