#CleanTok influencer shows how to easily remove hard oil stains from shirts

Cleaning and styling influencer Chantel Mila (@mama_mila_) recently posted a video showing her followers an easy way to get tough oil stains out of their shirts.

#CleanTok is one of the most popular hashtags on TikTok, with over 87 billion views. Mila, who has over 1 million followers, has multiple hacks to clean clothes properly.

“This simple trick works on both new + old oil stains to leave your clothes looking new,” she wrote in the caption.

According to Mila, the first thing to do is to put a plate underneath the shirt, which will catch any excess material. Then, cover the stain in dish soap and sprinkle baking soda on top. Mila then rubbed in the mixture before leaving it alone for 10 minutes. Once the 10 minutes is up, Mila says to wash it like normal, and everything will disappear.

People in the comments were pleased with the results from this hack and asked Mila how to get rid of other types of stains. To their advantage, Mila has a playlist with several videos about different methods to remove stains.

In one of the videos, Mila put red wine, coffee and makeup on linen sheets to show that her hacks can get a myriad of stains out.

For the red wine, she used shaving cream; for the coffee, she applied dish soap and baking soda; for the makeup, Mila used dish soap and micellar water. After that, she washed the cover like normal and put in half a cup of baking soda, which restored everything to its natural state.

Mila also has a video showing her followers how to get sweat stains out of white shirts.

According to her, people should soak their white clothes in warm water with denture tablets for 30 minutes.

Many people have raved about Mila’s hacks across her videos, saying they actually worked and were helpful. With her latest hack expanding upon popular tips she’s posted before, her followers continue to get tricks to put in their laundry arsenal.
