Clean up scheduled for Turtle Creek Park on Saturday

May 15—LEWISBURG — A volunteer day is scheduled for Saturday at Turtle Creek Park in East Buffalo Township.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the park, 1095 Supplee Mill Road, Lewisburg. Registration is not required, but volunteers must sign in at the gazebo.

The township is seeking individuals ages 15 and older capable of manual labor to help build narrow boardwalks along wet sections of the trail, spread mulch and reseed.

Volunteers are asked to bring work gloves and a shovel. Other supplies and water will be provided.
