Claudia Schiffer’s Birthday Tribute to Son Caspar Has Thirsty Followers Wondering if She Needs a Daughter-In-Law

If there was ever any doubt that Claudia Schiffer isn’t the only model in the Schiffer-Vaughn family, her latest Instagram post shut the naysayers up. Well, it didn’t really zip their lips so much as it had their jaws on the floor. The German model and actress posted a birthday tribute for her 21-year-old son Caspar and thirsty followers were all over it.
“He is the sweetest, caring, most mischievous, smart, clever, with a sense of humour, well mannered, and sporty,” Schiffer said in the caption. “He beats us all at tennis, croquet, backgammon, chess, table tennis, skiing, pool and more…”

And the pictures are just … wow. In the opening shot, Caspar is dressed up in a collared shirt and black velvet jacket. He rests his head thoughtfully on one hand and gazes soulfully into my eyes.
I mean, the camera. Gazes soulfully into the camera. In others, he rocks a black peacoat, a matching newsboy hat, and a brooding look. And while we can’t get behind the cigarette he’s smoking, we do approve of his perfectly groomed facial hair.
Schiffer went on to call him the “perfect English gentleman” *swoon!* and said she and her husband Matthew Vaughn are so proud of him.
“Do u need a daughter in law???” one follower asked, already hearing wedding bells while entranced by his jawline.
“And so cute ❤️,” another added to Schiffer’s list of positive attributes.
“🔥,” someone said simply. And no, we don’t think they were referencing his lighter.
The Schiffer-Vaughn Family
Schiffer and Vaughn also share daughters Clementine, 19 and Cosima, 13. Both girls are following in their mom and brother’s fashionable footsteps. In an essay for The Guardian last year, Schiffer revealed that the two are really starting to develop their own styles.
“I have kept so many pieces over the years, including my Valentino wedding dress,” Schiffer wrote. “My daughters are now starting to wear my vintage pieces too, but in a style of their own. I love watching how they put together outfits. Wardrobe sharing, swapping and preloved seems second nature to my daughters’ generation.”
Fans were stunned in November when resurfaced photos and videos showed just how alike Schiffer and Clementine look. Perhaps the most memorable photo of Clementine, though, is when she graced the cover of German Vogue as a baby in 2005.
Schiffer told Stylist when her kids were young that she always wanted to have kids. “Before I met Matthew I worked non-stop. But once we got together suddenly a whole new world seemed to open up.”
“When I had my first child my priorities became completely different,” she continued. “Motherhood made me feel, ‘This is what I’m all about.’ You stop worrying.”
