The Classic Nike Air Max 95 ‘Neon’ Is Returning Soon

The Nike Air Max 95 is celebrating its 25th birthday this year, and to commemorate the huge milestone, the brand is reissuing the shoe in its original iconic colorway.

Designed by Sergio Lozano in 1995, the Nike Air Max 95 was inspired by the anatomy of the human body. For instance, the upper’s layered panels and mesh dons various shades of gray that references the muscle fibers and flesh, while the bright yellow nylon eyelets represent the ribs. The standout design is the spine-inspired midsole, which is the first Nike shoe to feature a visible Air bag at both the forefoot and heel.

Adding to the look are the neon yellow hits throughout the shoe, while a small Swoosh logo and Nike Air branding appear by the ankle collar.

The Nike Air Max 95 “Neon” will release on Dec. 17 via the SNKRS app and at select Nike Sportswear retailers. The shoe will be available in full-family sizes including for adults, big kids’, little kids’ and toddler sizing. Retail prices are set at $170, $150, $110, and $80, respectively.

In related Nike Air Max news, the brand is celebrating Christmas with the release of the Air Max 90 “Nordic” this month.
