Disney is so iconic that seeing two small circles perched upon one bigger circle instantly makes you think of Mickey Mouse. This character is a quintessential part of American culture that takes you back to Saturday mornings spent watching cartoons and days at Disneyland you never want to end. However, Mickey Mouse is also symbolic of never giving up on your dreams, as Walt Disney had to struggle to make his cartoon creation a success. He initially wrote Mickey Mouse in a short film called Plane Crazy, which was dismissed by the studio. It was only six months later that everyone’s favorite anthropomorphic mouse made his comeback and official debut in Steamboat Willie, proving that you should never give up on the ideas you really believe in.
