Clarks Originals is teaming up with English footballer Raheem Sterling to reimagine the brand’s beloved Wallabee silhouette. This marks Sterling’s third collaboration with the brand.

Launched under the sports star’s own fashion line Sixteen Ninety Two, the boot features heavy Jamaican inspiration ala Sterling’s heritage, built through a utilitarian lens. Made from technical quilted nylon accompanied by adjustable lace toggles, the boot turns an outdoor-ready silhouette into a versatile streetwear staple, bridging the gap between both worlds. The rubber outsole and lining feature head-turning bright pops of orange, while the topstitching and signature crepe midsoles capture Clarks Originals’ unmistakable commitment to craft.

Clarks Originals’ classic fob detailing is reimagined with the imprint of “Est 1692”, paying homage to the birthdate of Kingston, Jamaica. Further celebrating Sterling’s roots, the Jamaican coat of arms foil can be found detailed on the heel tag.

Clarks was founded in 1852 in Somerset, England, by brothers James and Cyrus Clark. Today, the footwear brand operates in retail, wholesale, franchises and online channels in over 100 markets. As of late, Clarks has collaborated with an impressive list of brands and people including C.P. Company, Supreme, Stüssy, Carhartt WIP, Aimé Leon Dore, Wu-Tang Clan, Aries, Raheem Sterling and BAPE.

One of Clarks’ most recent endeavors under Clarks Originals was with London-based independent sneaker retailer Footpatrol. The duo revamped the Wallabee boot and Desert Trek Cup silhouettes. The collection was inspired by the look of Japanese Zen gardens while the campaign was spearheaded by British grime MC D Double E. Both styles were crafted of dark gray suede.

Sterling’s brand Sixteen Ninety Two was founded in 2021. The brand’s debut menswear collection was presented at London Fashion Week.
