Clarks Launches Pokemon Collaboration Inspired by Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle and Pikachu
Clarks is launching its second collaboration with the beloved franchise “Pokémon,” reimagining the brand’s iconic Torhill Hi for adults.
Available online and in selected stores on Dec. 8, the collection pulls inspiration from four Pokémon characters: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle and Pikachu. Each Torhill Hi silhouette is crafted of premium textural suede accompanied by retro pixelated graphics on the tongue in various hues from Green, Orange, Blue and Yellow, mirroring the hues found in each character’s design.

Marking every style as its own, the heel pull tabs are decorated with numbering. Other details on the collaborative footwear include ribbed non-slip outsoles, signature co-branded fobs and removable leather Contour Cushion footbeds that guarantee both style and comfort on any terrain.
Pokémon first debuted in Japan with the launch of Pokémon Red Version and Pokémon Green Version in 1996. Under Clarks Originals, Clarks has been able to experiment and expound upon many of its most popular silhouettes, including the Wallabee and Desert Boot.
Clarks’ iconic moccasin-inspired Wallabee was crafted in Ireland and launched in 1960 but the concept dates back to 1880, dreamt up by William Clark. The shoe is a cultural phenomenon and has been remixed throughout the years by a myriad of brands and institutions including Supreme, Billionaire Boys Club, Moncler, Aries, Slam Jam, Beams and JJJJound among others.
