Clare Crawley Shaded Matt James on Twitter and Bachelor Nation Is *Not* Pleased

• Clare Crawley doesn't seem to be a fan of Matt James, who's set to be a contestant on her Bachelorette season.

• Bachelor Nation isn't having it.

Someone over in ABC's casting department needs to get a raise, cause even though there is no Bachelor/Bachelorette season currently airing, the drama just keeps on coming. Earlier this week, it was all about Peter Weber's many exes slamming him on TikTok/Instagram/podcasts (the poor guy can't catch a break!), and now our future Bachelorette, Ms. Clare Crawley, is starting drama of her own.

Yesterday, Clare took to Twitter to express her thoughts on one of her contestants, and let's just say she doesn't like what she's been seeing from him! Clare didn't name names, but it's prettyyy clear she's talking about Matt James, aka Tyler Cameron's best friend. She posted:

And most of the replies to Clare's tweets were...not supportive! People pointed out that Matt has been in the spotlight for a while because of his association with Tyler (he was one of the @thequarantinecrew), gives interviews to promote his charity (which brings underserved kids to restaurants), and is doing Cameo to raise money for a good cause. Comments included things like:

• Wow can we cancel the season of bachelorette and go straight to bachelor please please she seems mean!! Everyone loves Matt James

• If you're shading Matt...….He's literally bringing awareness to his charity. He's helping people. This ain't it.

• Please tell us again how Matt James using the platform he has to earn money for underprivileged NYC youths makes you feel. This tweet is so cringy

Plus, it looks like Matt saw Clare's tweet and knew she was talking about him, cause he seemingly replied in his Insta stories, saying, "For those of you who may have missed the messaging, earlier this week, myself and Alex Bachman, my former teammate...have pledged all of our Cameo earnings to the Robin Hood Foundation to fight this fight."

Clare hasn't responded to any of the heat she's getting from her tweet, but if you ask me, it's her love life and she can do whatever she wants with it! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
