Claire Danes Shows Off Baby Bump During Red Carpet Appearance

Claire Danes hit the red carpet with her baby bump in tow.

The actress stepped out in Los Angeles, Calif. on Tues., May 9 for FX's Fleishman is in Trouble FYC donning a floor-length all-black dress that featured cape sleeves held together by gold jewels. She cradled her baby bump as it peeked through the black attire, pairing the look with black heels to match.

As for her glam, she rocked her pin-straight hair in a short bob side part along with a glamorous makeup look that featured rosy cheeks and a light pink lip color.

The Homeland actress–who shares two other children, Cyrus Michael, 10, and Rowan, 4, with her husband, Hugh Dancy–first divulged she was pregnant back in Jan. when she revealed the news to PEOPLE.

While Danes and Dancy are excited to welcome their third child, the 44-year-old actress revealed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that her sons had a different reaction. 

“Cyrus was sort of resigned to it. I mean, the worst has already happened, his name is Rowan,” Danes quipped on the Jan. 27 episode. “But Rowan has more to lose, like, he has more at stake. And he was categorically opposed to the idea. He said, ‘Yeah, no no no, I don’t like it. I like peace, Mama.’ I was like, that’s rich because that dude does not shut up.”

She went on to say that her youngest child had already set up a plan for the new addition, stating, “When it comes out of your tummy, we’ll give it to a family that doesn’t have a baby because we’re done."

“He was less than thrilled but then we talked about how when the baby comes out, it’s going to be pretty dumb [and] doesn’t know a lot, it's gonna need assistance and some educating. That was interesting to him. He liked the idea of being a condescending presence. So, now he’s a little more optimistic," she added.
