Clackamas Sheriff Warns Drivers After Two 'Deer Misses'

The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office is warning drivers “watch your speed and pay attention” after its own deputies had two near misses with deer in the space of a couple of weeks this past November.

Dashcam footage released on December 16 by the sheriff’s office shows two incidents, on November 7 and November 24, in which a police vehicle came close to hitting a deer. “Luckily, the deer escaped,” in both instances, the sheriff said.
