A New Cinnamon Toast Crunch Is Coming to Shelves
It’s got sugar and spice and everything nice.
When a food brand has a successful product we know and love, we’re always excited to see a fresh take. Winter is coming, and with it comes seasonal flavors and mashups. Recently, we’ve seen new holiday-themed Funfetti products, holiday Twinkies, and holiday-themed Little Debbie ice cream. Now, holiday fun is coming to breakfast.
General Mills’ Holiday-Themed Gingerbread Toast Crunch
Riffing on its classic Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, General Mills has created a new limited-edition Gingerbread Toast Crunch cereal. Like its sister Cinnamon Toast Crunch, the seasonal cereal features light and crispy squares blasted with cinnamon-sugar flavor. The gingerbread iteration kicks the flavor up a notch with the aroma and taste of warm gingerbread spices.
Cin-Gerbread Toast Crunch House Kit
If your brain can’t help but make the connection between gingerbread-flavored cereal and gingerbread houses, you’re not alone. In honor of the new flavor, the brand has created a Cin-Gerbread Toast Crunch House Kit, which you can use to build the gingerbread house of your dreams (plus an ugly CTC-themed holiday sweater to don while you assemble it). The kit includes everything you need: gingerbread pieces to construct the house, Betty Crocker CTC icing to “glue” the foundation together, and a box of Gingerbread Toast Crunch perfect for creating shingles on the roof. You’ll also receive additional candies for decorating and Cinnadust for a sparkly finish.
The Cin-Gerbread House Kits are now available online while supplies last, and the holiday cereals are available at select retailers nationwide.
The newest limited-edition flavor joins a couple of other holiday-themed cereals in the General Mills lineup. Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch, another holiday-inspired take on CTC, is imbued with sugar cookie flavor, and Rudolph Cereal is also returning for its sophomore year, featuring hot cocoa-flavored cereal with marshmallows shaped like holiday trees, elf hats, and Rudolph’s nose.
