Cinematic Video of Horses Running Together Shows the True Beauty of the American West

I didn't grow up as a horse girl (I'm a fan of cows), but even I can appreciate the majesty of a herd of galloping horses. From the thundering sound of their hooves to their manes billowing in the breeze, there's just so much to appreciate about this classically Western scene.

I expect nothing less from Wyoming's Heart 6 Ranch. This family-friendly ranch specializes in outdoor activities such as horseback riding, so they take excellent care of their large herd. Take a look at this video from ranch hand @thomasladen7840.

Isn't this such a gorgeous moment? It's like a scene straight out of a western movie! The horses and their variety of coat colors are so much fun to watch, and I loved the way the anticipation built as they galloped toward Thomas, who filmed the scene.

Unsurprisingly, other commenters are falling for the herd of horses, too. For example, viewer @tinapennington73 loves "the beautiful sound" of the herd's hooves on the dirt. I thought the very same thing! The soft sound of the hooves reminded me of a soft rainfall, but by the time the horses were passing the camera, it was a full-on thunderstorm!

Ironically, these horses were actually on their way to the barn to avoid getting caught in the impending rain. As much as Wyoming might need the rain--the horses don't! These large animals are much more comfortable riding out the storm in the comfort of a barn.

Not only is this scene absolutely breathtaking, but it's also proof that Thomas and the equestrian team at Heart 6 Ranch take excellent care of their animals. These horses are the stars of the show for many of the ranch's activities, so I'm glad to see that they're pampered like the superstars they are.
