Not many people know the name Kaia Gerber, but that’s about to change. Gerber, the 13-year-old daughter of Cindy Crawford, has been called the supermodel’s “mini-me,” and with good reason. With her long chestnut-brown hair, tall build, and symmetrical features, Gerber clearly inherited her mom’s famous looks. (No mole, though—brother Presley, who regularly photographs his sister, lucked out with that one.)
Now, Gerber has landed a major photo spread in the December issue of Teen Vogue, marking her magazine debut. During the shoot, the whole family showed up to cheer Gerber on. “She knows so much about [modeling],” Gerber said of her model mother. “I think it would be hard for her to be on set and not say things like, ‘Psst, Kaia, put your elbow up.’”

Despite having the lineage and beauty to follow in her mother’s footsteps, Gerber is not necessarily looking to step into the fashion world. Instead, she’s auditioning for roles in Hollywood. “I like to explore beyond who I am so I can feel for other people,” she explained to Teen Vogue. “When you become someone else, you better understand others.” Spoken like a girl who knows exactly what she wants—and will, no doubt, have people watching her next moves.
