Cindy Crawford's New Casamigas Line Is a Love Letter to Spicy Margaritas

Looking to try a new cocktail this weekend? Allow Cindy Crawford to help you. The supermodel is the latest celebrity to enter into the spirits space (Hello, Ryan Reynolds and Matthew McConaughey), and has teamed up with Casamigos Tequila founders George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldman and created a spicy addition to their line, Casamigas Jalapeño Tequila.

Casamigas was inspired by Crawford's go-to drink and is made of 100% blue Weber agave jalapeño tequila. It's naturally flavored with jalapeños to create a drink with just the right amount of heat. "As much as I love Casamigos, my go-to drink for a fun night is a skinny, spicy Casamigos margarita," Crawford said. "Casamigas Jalapeño makes it that much easier." The supermodel has also put a personal touch to the bottle that Casamigas comes in, too. While it still incorporates the classic design of Casamigos, Crawford added sketched flames (a nod to the spiciness of the alcohol) and a lipstick print complete with her beauty mark onto the bottle. Her signature was added between Clooney and Ferber's initials towards the bottom.

As spring is here, and summer is upon us, it might be a good time to think of new cocktail recipes to impress your guests. Warmer weather requires a drink that is as refreshing as it is flavorful, and a Casamigas Spicy Cucumber Margarita will do just the trick.

Ingredients:

1.5 ounces Casamigas Jalapeño Tequila

.75 ounces of fresh lime juice

.5 ounces of simple syrup

3 cucumber slices

1 dash of Scrappy's Firewater bitter or 1 jalapeño slice.

Instructions:

Garnish a cucumber wheel and jalapeño slice through a skewer. Then, combine all ingredients into a tin shaker. (Muddle the jalapeño if you are using it). Add ice, shake vigorously and fine strain into a rocks glass. Add fresh ice and garnish. Enjoy!
