Summer is officially here, and Cindy Crawford is celebrating on social media. The 57-year-old former supermodel recently posted a throwback photo picturing her on the beach in a swimsuit, and fans are obsessed, to say the least.

On July 4th, Crawford posted the nostalgic picture to her feed with the caption: “Long weekend ❤️🤍💙.” In the beachfront photo, she wears a black and white polka-dot swimsuit with her hands running through her hair.

Fans ran to the comments section to voice their admiration. “The OG Supermodel of the world 😍✨👑🌟,” one fan wrote. “Always beautiful ❤️❤️❤️,” added another. “Gorgeous then and now 😍❤️,” another fan chimed in.

Crawford’s nostalgic swimsuit photo showed off the star’s super-toned abs and arms. And as if that wasn’t enough for fans, the supermodel posted another throwback just a few days later where she sported a cheeky one-piece swimsuit that accentuated her toned glutes and legs.

While Crawford loves a trip down memory lane and posting gorgeous throwback photos, the star acknowledges the beauty of where she is now in life and the privilege of aging.

Recently, Crawford opened up about all things aging in an interview with Haute Living. She explained that while some call her “ageless,” she rejects the statement, candidly stating: “It puts too much pressure on me. I know all the ways that I’ve aged. My face has gotten much thinner; my mouth isn’t as full. Being told I’m ageless isn’t right.”

There is value in aging, the supermodel explained. “I’m not 25, so why should I be trying to look 25? Why do I want someone to mistake me for a 25-year-old? I’ve had children,” she continued in the interview. “I have all this life experience.”

She doesn’t deny that she sometimes doesn’t “feel as confident,” but she appreciates keeping it “real” and values her authenticity. “Aging is what happens if we’re lucky,” she said. “It means that I’m alive.”
