Cindy Crawford, 53, Shares The Badass Butt Exercise That Gives Her Insanely Toned Glutes

In this week's episode of "Cindy Crawford Doesn't Age," the 53-year-old supermodel took to Instagram to show us just how hard she works in the gym to maintain her insanely toned figure. Crawford blessed her followers with a clip from her personal trainer session with celeb fitness coach Sarah Perla, and it hurts just looking at it.

During Crawford's sweat sesh, she performed a round of assisted wall squats using a medicine ball to fire up her glutes and back. If you've ever done a wall sit, you know just how much your thighs burn from holding the position. Adding in squats and a medicine ball? Ouch.

The funny part is, according to Crawford's trainer, this exercise is just part of her warm up! "Don’t forget to take the time to warm up," Perla wrote in an Instagram caption to a post of Crawford working out. "These assisted/supported wall squats are great for the back and firing up the quads and glutes!"

Following comment after comment that read "💪💪💪💪," Crawford's fans flooded her post with messages about just how freaking strong the model is, especially at her age. "That looks so painful!" one follower wrote, while another said "you are so fit always ❤️."

Others commented asking the star to reveal just how exactly she looks so ridiculously youthful at 53. Yes, Crawford has supermodel genes, but she takes pretty good care of herself so she can keep throwing up bikini posts on Instagram that break the internet.

For starters, by scrolling through Crawford's Instagram feed you'll quickly learn that there are multiple posts of her putting in time at the gym to stay toned. She's a regular at the gym and likes to start her day with a good sweat, like in this post from 2017. "Wake up and work out!" she wrote in the caption, as she performs a set of burpees.

Even on the weekends, you can find Crawford in the gym. She shared another picture to Instagram of her clutching two dumbbells looking focused and in the zone as she sculpts her arms. "Kicking the weekend off right with a Saturday morning workout 💪🏼," she wrote in the caption. No excuses for this star!

Crawford and her LA-based personal trainer also take their workouts outside, too. The supermodel loves to workout on her porch in Malibu, especially on an early overcast morning.

In an Instagram post from June, Crawford performs step up lunge crunches using a plate for extra burn. "Misty malibu morning workout with @sarahperla1 ☁️" she captioned the post.

She also carves out cardio time during her workout sessions. In a 2017 interview with The Cut, Crawford mentioned the many different ways she fits cardio into her day. "Sometimes the cardio is jumping on a trampoline, using a treadmill or elliptical, or running," she said. "We have stairs going down to the beach from our house. I put on an audio book or music while I run the stairs at my house for 20 minutes."

In a post from December 2018, she shared a treadmill workout before heading off to holiday celebrations. "Squeezing in one last workout with @sarahperla1 before the holidays! #nomagicpill" she wrote in the caption.

Ultimately, Crawford proves that working hard and making time to exercise can help you stay strong and healthy with age. And now I'm off to the gym to work on my 🍑.
