Cinderella blue dresses are ruling the 2019 Emmys red carpet—because who doesn't want to be a Disney princess?

A little Disney magic has blessed the 2019 Emmys red carpet. There were bold and bright dresses, throwback 1980s-style sleeves, and a great deal of glitter and shimmer. Um, and did you guys see Gwendoline Christie show up as legit Jesus? But one of our favorite celeb fashion trends is a Cinderella blue dress. Looks like Fairy Godmother got ahold of so many stars before they stepped from their carriages (ahem, limos).

We have to give Brittany Snow top marks for giving us the biggest Cinderella moment of the 2019 Emmys, but so many others sparkled, too.

There were (gasp!) two-piece Cinderella dresses; modern, light-blue, column dresses; metallic blue shimmer; and one, um, edgier interpretation. (We didn’t say every single one was a great look.)

When the light hits Isla Fisher’s silvery metallic dress, you can really see the baby blue undertone—and it’s gorg.

If Cinderella lived in 2019, this would be her blue princess dress of choice.

Okay, everyone. What Disney princess are we all deciding to be at the 2020 Emmys?
